Gerry grew up in Skerries and moved to Swords when he got married in 2002. He had a lengthy career in banking which spanned almost 24 years.

While helping out with a charity event doing a magic show for children with diabetes, Gerry decided that the bank was no longer the job for him and he wanted to do something else. The show gave him  a taste of what it was like to help people.

After studying for a few years, Gerry qualified as a clinical hypnotherapist and received an Advanced Diploma in hypnotherapy from the Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy of Ireland (ICHI).   

Since qualifying, Gerry has helped people in so many different ways. Below is a list of some of the issues he can help with:
